Jennie Nickel, Licensed Aesthetician
& Laser Specialist

Jennie has always had an interest in makeup artistry and has worked for major cosmetic skin care lines over the years. She completed 3000 hours toward her apprenticeship in aesthetics at Terrame Day Spa and Salon and became licensed as an Aesthetician in 2004. She joined Dr. Knowling’s practice in 2005, after having completed training in all aspects of laser treatments including laser hair reduction, photo-facials, hyperpigmentation, sun-damaged skin, brown spots, rosacea and age spots. Jennie’s knowledge of skin types and conditions play a vital role in the Skin Care and Laser Services offered at the Center.

Jennie is a member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists. Endorsed by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and recognized as a "related organization" by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the SPSSCS serves as the professional organization which promotes and educates plastic surgical skin care professionals worldwide. Currently, Jennie is the only member to have attained this distinction in North Alabama.
